1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Econos platform, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Econos Oy ("Econos", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Service Description
Econos provides an intelligent financial operating system for modern Finnish businesses, including automated bookkeeping, VAT management, digital receipt storage, and real-time collaboration tools with accounting firms. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
3. Registration and Account Security
To access the Service, you must register for an account using a valid email address and secure password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. User Obligations & Conduct
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including Finnish tax and financial regulations. You shall not upload or transmit any malicious code, interfere with the security of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or databases.
5. Fees and Payment
Certain features of our Service are subject to subscription fees. All fees are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law or as expressly specified in a written agreement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, Econos Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court of Helsinki, Finland.
